Profile

Jennifer L. Schneider is the Managing Attorney of Drake Loeb PLLC. She is responsible for the overall financial, operational, marketing, and human resource management of the firm, including financial reporting and analysis, business compliance matters and insurance, billing, staff and attorney recruitment, employment practices and policies, staff and attorney performance, and marketing initiatives. As an attorney, she represents clients, primarily businesses, seeking advice on employment law issues in the workplace.

A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Jennifer began her career as an associate attorney in the areas of estate planning, estate litigation, and matrimonial law at a law firm whose owner also ran a national paralegal school.  Through this association, she began over time to shift her attention to assist in the development and management of the paralegal education curriculum and standards for the school, working closely with William Statsky, the renowned author of "Introduction to Paralegalism" and other legal textbooks. She served as an advisor to Rockland Community College during the early development of its paralegal program and provided services to the United States Department of Education as an auditor of paralegal schools in the United States to determine their compliance with standards for certification.

After moving to St. Louis, Missouri, she began to teach paralegal courses at the undergraduate level and soon became Assistant to the President of the school, gaining valuable insight and  practical experience on managing the business of a college. Upon returning to New York, she decided to try to translate this business experience and her legal background and skills to a law firm setting, which ultimately led to her current position. She is proud that her affiliation with the partners of Drake Loeb PLLC has lasted more than twenty years.

Jennifer also serves on the Business Advisory Board of Mount Saint Mary College and is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Arts Council.
