Cordisco Named as a Director of the Regional Economic Community Action Program, Inc. (RECAP)
Dominic Cordisco was recently named a director of RECAP, the Regional Economic Community Action Program, Inc. RECAP has been in existence for over 60 years, serving Orange, Sullivan and Rockland Counties.
Dominic comments, "I am thrilled to join RECAP and to help support its mission to create healthier, safer, more equitable communities. More than ever, the programs and services that it offers to the community, which address the social determinants of health and the systematic issues affecting our neighbors including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and ableism, are sorely needed."
RECAP's goal is for everyone to increase self-sufficiency and health outcomes, and they recently announced their next major project, which is a partnership with the City of Middletown to expand their Head Start program in the City with the rehabilitation of the former O&W rail station.
